So many parishioners offered their time and exceptional talent to provide a wonderful holiday experience for over 90 older people, there was music, dancing, games and fun in true holiday camp style, Fr Doug was a great sport and even allowed wet sponges to be thrown at him in the stocks but missed the overall prize for the knobbly knees competition. HEAVEN ON EARTH
There will be a free presentation at the Odeon Cinema in Bloomsbury, on Tuesday 5thSeptember, of the upcoming Musical ‘Heaven on Earth’ which will be showing in the Wembley Arena in May 2018. The musical is a wonderful portrayal of the Christian message through the story of Adam and Eve. Using the very latest technology the audience will witness the creation of the universe and the formation of man from the dust. The stage-set for Eden is breathtaking. Our West End director describes the show as,“a visual treat and a delight to the ears; one that will transport the audience to another world.”The musical stars: Kerry Ellis(First Lady of the West End) as EVE,
Hugh Maynard(Jesus Christ Superstar/Miss Saigon) as ADAM,
Russell Watsonas ‘THE VOICE OF GOD.’
On Tuesday 5thwe will share the miraculous story of the musical, and show videos on the big screen, including a good number of songs from ‘Heaven on Earth.’
This is a wonderful opportunity to impact the whole of the London area with the Gospel and bring hope to many thousands of people. Perhaps you would like to use this for local evangelism by inviting family and friends to the show so that as many people as possible might experience ‘heaven on earth.’
For this purpose we are offering discounted tickets to all churches represented at the meeting on the 5thSeptember. Although there is no limit to the amount of discounted tickets available, the offer will be for a twelve day period only, from the 5thto 16thSeptember. The conference is at 9.30 am for a prompt start at 10:00 am and will finish at 1pm.The invitation is to all Christians who wish to promote evangelism. The cinema seats 300 people and bookings will be on a first come first served basis.
Please apply for your seats, giving the names of all email@example.com. Please mark your email ‘LONDON’.
We will email back to confirm your seat. Address: Odeon Cinema, 30 Tottenham Court Road, Bloomsbury, London W1T 1BX.
